Pseudopod & Tumble

My story, Tumble, which originally appeared in Ideomancer, and then in Australian Dark Fantasy & Horror 2006, is now a podcast on Pseudopod. Check it out here.

Hey trent,

I had a listen to Tumble on the 'Pod but the high testoterone American accent seemed not quite right for your story. At least, not the way I interpret your story. Still, it was very damn cool.

I tried emailing you today about Black Box but your mail bounced - would you mind dropping me a line from your current email (to shane[at]jiraiya.com.au)?

I just heard "Tumble" on Pseudopod, thought it was pretty badass, just wanted to share. If there are any other stories around based on those characters or that world I'd love to know.

Hey John,

Thanks. I'm really glad you liked it.

At this stage that's the only one getting about. But I'm thinking about returning to that place in the future, `cause I think there's a much bigger story there.

If you like that one though I've got something coming out in a Jack Dann's anthology Dreaming Again. The story is called the New Deal. If anything, it's darker, and I've always thought of it as a sort of thematic sequel to Tumble.

Jeez, that's a long answer.
